This page describes specific settings for the Data Table<\/strong> widget. Note that generic widget settings are described on the Widget Generic Settings<\/a> page, so if you cannot find the setting you are looking for check there too.<\/p>\n

Note that when adding data to a Data Table widget, if the data source is CSV<\/a>, the order in which you select the fields in the widget properties (Data tab) will determine the order in which fields are shown in the table.<\/p>\n

Layout<\/h3>\n

Auto-adjust columns<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether column widths should auto-adjust when the data table is resized or not.<\/p>\n

Row header width<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose the size for the header width. This can be used for example to create more space for long feature or indicator names.<\/p>\n

Auto-width<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether the data table should automatically use the full width available to it.<\/p>\n

Use headers in<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>r<\/strong>ows<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether to use headers in rows in the data table. You can remove headers to simplify your table layout in some cases.<\/p>\n

Sort features by name<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether you want to sort features in the data table or not. This setting will be greyed out if the table is only showing data for one area.<\/p>\n

Orientation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether the data table should show features in rows or columns.<\/p>\n

Show feature headers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether the feature names should be shown in headers in the data table or not.<\/p>\n

Text & Labels<\/h3>\n

Cell data format<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type a format for the data values that will show in the table cells. You can use this to add symbols\/text after the numerical values e.g. ‘#VAL%’ if you want to show a % symbol after a number.<\/p>\n

Cell data format – comparisons<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type a format for the values that will show in the table cells for data for comparison features.<\/p>\n

Indicator labels<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type a format for the indicator labels in the data table. Refer to the Variables<\/a> page for information on the possible values.<\/p>\n

Date & time format<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type a format for the date & time labels in the data table. Refer to the Variables<\/a> page for information on the possible values.<\/p>\n

Top left label<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type some text that will be displayed in the top left cell of the data table.<\/p>\n

Styling<\/h3>\n

Cells – right align numbers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Use this toggle to choose whether numbers should be right-aligned or not<\/p>\n

Table – border style<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose a border style for the data table.<\/p>\n

Table – border width<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose a border style for the data table. This setting will be greyed out if Table – border style<\/strong> is ‘not-set’.<\/p>\n

Table – border color<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose a border color for the data table. This setting will be greyed out if Table – border style<\/strong> is ‘not-set’.<\/p>\n

Collapse borders<\/strong><\/p>\n

Use this toggle to choose whether the data table borders should be collapsed or not.<\/p>\n

Metadata & Links<\/h3>\n

Metadata links<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose whether to show metadata links in the data table and if so, whether they should use text and\/or an image.<\/p>\n

Link url<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type the URL to be used when the metadata link is clicked. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n

Link text<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type the text to be used in the metadata link. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n

Link tooltip<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type the tooltip to be used for the metadata link. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n

Image url<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type the image URL to be used for the metadata link. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n

Image width<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type or use the arrows to set the width of the image to be used for the metadata link. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n

Image height<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type or use the arrows to set the height of the image to be used for the metadata link. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n

Image position<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choose the position of the image relative to the text used in the metadata link. This setting will be greyed out if Metadata links<\/strong> is set to ‘none’.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
