The <em>Choose Font<\/em> dialog comes with a pre-selected set of fonts from <a href=\"https:\/\/fonts.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fonts.google.com<\/a> (use the drop-down button\/list on the right hand side). You can also type in the name of a font into the box &#8211; if this font is available via fonts.google.com Report Builder will automatically link to it and use it in your report (try typing <em>Orbitron<\/em> into the box and see what happens!).<\/p>\n<p>You can also use one of the standard fonts found on most computer systems (for example <em>Arial<\/em> is available on almost every windows system, but it&#8217;s not very pretty) or use one the standard font keywords &#8211; <strong>sans-serif<\/strong>, <strong>serif<\/strong>, <strong>monospace<\/strong> &#8211; to leave the final font choice up to the browser.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to use a font not available on fonts.google.com you will need to first add an <strong>@import<\/strong> rule to the CSS for your report via the <a href=\"\/report-builder\/advanced-custom-css\/\">Advanced Styling<\/a> dialog, then just type the name of that font into the box.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure that reports comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Google fonts are now hosted on the same service\/URL rather than using the Google content delivery network (CDN) directly. More detail on the issues around Google Fonts, GDPR and IP addresses is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookieyes.com\/documentation\/features\/google-fonts-and-gdpr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. Note that this applies to <a href=\"\/report-builder\/fonts\/\">fonts listed directly in the Report Builder editor<\/a> &#8211; if you type the name of a Google-hosted font not in this list it will still come directly from the Google CDN, so you need to be careful if you are subject to GDPR.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Report Builder can use almost any web font you have access to.
