Note that generic widget settings are described on the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder\/widget-generic-settings\/\">Widget Generic Settings<\/a> page, so if you cannot find the setting you are looking for check there too. It is good practice to design your charts to be as <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder\/web-accessibility-in-report-builder-2-0\/\">accessible<\/a> as possible.<\/p>\n<h3>Lines<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Style<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the style for the line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Width<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Set the line width.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Point markers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the symbol used for the point markers. If you set this to <em>auto<\/em> it will cycle through the available symbols.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Point marker size<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the size for the point markers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tooltip format<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the tooltip format. Click the arrow on the right to see suggested values. If you wish to add confidence limit values to the tooltip you can use the variables #YMIN and #YMAX.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Values labels style<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the style for the value label shown for each point. This setting will be greyed out if <strong>Label points with value<\/strong> is false.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Value labels font size<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the font size for the point value labels. This setting will be greyed out if <strong>Label points with value<\/strong> is false.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comparisons &#8211; style<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the style for the line for comparison features.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comparisons &#8211; width<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Set the line width for comparison features.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comparisons &#8211; point markers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the symbol used for the point markers for comparison features. If you set this to <em>auto<\/em> it will cycle through the available symbols. If you have multiple comparator features in your chart, the line for each will use different symbols for the point markers which helps to distinguish them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comparisons &#8211; point marker size<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the size for the point markers for comparison features.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interpolation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the interpolation that should be used for the line drawn through the data points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auto-span gaps?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Where a date in the time series is missing a value, choose whether the chart should auto-span the gaps or not.<\/p>\n<p><b>Fill under lines<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Click this toggle if you wish to fill the area beneath the line(s) in the plot area.<\/p>\n<h3>Limits &amp; Error Bars<\/h3>\n<p>Please refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder\/bar-line-charts-confidence-limits-error-bars\/\">this page<\/a> for the use of these settings.<\/p>\n<h3>Annotations &#8211; Lines and Zones<\/h3>\n<p>Line charts can show fixed lines or zones additionally to the displayed indicator(s). You can add up to 4 lines and up to 4 zones to the chart. Each line has it\u2019s own fixed value, label, colour, width and style. For each zone, the start and end value, label, colour and opacity can be defined.
