Note that generic widget settings are described on the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder\/widget-generic-settings\/\">Widget Generic Settings<\/a> page, so if you cannot find the setting you are looking for check there too. It is good practice to design your charts to be as <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder\/web-accessibility-in-report-builder-2-0\/\">accessible<\/a> as possible.<\/p>\n<h3>Pie &amp; Segments<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Doughnut hole size<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the size for the hole if you wish your pie to use a doughnut style.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Degrees of arc<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the degrees of arc for the pie chart e.g. 180 will give you a semi-circle rather than a full circle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group small segments at<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose a threshold at which data will be grouped into a single segment. This can be used to avoid barely visible segments or slivers in the chart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group small segments label<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Type the text label that will be displayed (in the legend) for the group small segments class of the chart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group small segments color<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the color that will be displayed (in the legend) for the group small segments class of the chart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Segment labels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose whether to show segment labels and if so whether these should be inside or outside of the segments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Segment label format<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Type a format for the segment labels. This setting will be greyed out if <strong>Segment labels<\/strong>\u00a0is false.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Segment labels style<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose a style for the segment labels. This setting will be greyed out if <strong>Segment labels<\/strong>\u00a0is false.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Segment labels font<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose a font family for the segment labels. This setting will be greyed out if <strong>Segment labels<\/strong>\u00a0is false.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Segment labels font size<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choose the font size for the segment value labels. This setting will be greyed out if <strong>Label points with value<\/strong> is false.<\/p>\n<p><b>Segment tooltip format<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Choose the tooltip format. Click the arrow on the right to see suggested values.<\/p>\n<h3>Series<\/h3>\n<p>There is no longer a Series type setting for Pie Charts (as is the case for other chart widgets) as this caused confusion.<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>The rules are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>include all areas = true =&gt; one \u201cpie\u201d per indicator and each segment corresponds to a feature<\/li>\n<li>include all areas = false =&gt; one \u201cpie\u201d per feature (i.e. if you use show comparisons = true) and each segment corresponds to an indicator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This page describes specific settings for the Pie Chart widget.
