{"id":11126,"date":"2017-12-01T16:07:01","date_gmt":"2017-12-01T16:07:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder-agol\/?p=11126"},"modified":"2017-12-01T17:19:48","modified_gmt":"2017-12-01T17:19:48","slug":"1-december-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/help.reports.esriuk.com\/report-builder\/2017\/12\/01\/1-december-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"1 December 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest version of <strong>Report Builder (v 1.6.14)<\/strong> is out now!<\/p>\n<p>In this version we have fixed a few bugs, added support for filtered layers, allowed re-ordering of indicators on a widget by widget basis and provided more information on the data sources used in your report.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Filtered layers<\/h2>\n<p>In some cases you may not want to produce a report for all the features in your map layer.\u00a0 While you could just direct users to the report for the particular feature the index page would show links to them all.\u00a0 Report Builder will now recognize any filters set on your layer.\u00a0 You can set the <a href=\"http:\/\/doc.arcgis.com\/en\/arcgis-online\/create-maps\/apply-filters.htm\">filter<\/a> on the layer itself or define it in the webmap.\u00a0 You can also now connect to datastore if you are basing your report on a filtered layer<\/p>\n<h2>Indicator Order<\/h2>\n<p>You can now override the order of the indicators in your individual widgets.\u00a0 Just go into the Data tab of your widget properties and click on the &#8216;Set indicator aliases for this widget&#8217;\u00a0 From here you&#8217;ll be able to move indicators up and down in the list<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder-agol\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/indicator-order-e1512144770701.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"497\" height=\"514\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-11127\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.reports.esriuk.com\/report-builder\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/indicator-order-e1512144770701.png 730w, https:\/\/help.reports.esriuk.com\/report-builder\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/indicator-order-e1512144770701-290x300.png 290w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Web Map Legend<\/h2>\n<p>The web map widget now has a setting allowing you to include a legend.<\/p>\n<h2>&lt;iframe&gt;<\/h2>\n<p>You can now easily embed an iframe into your report.\u00a0 This can be useful if you want to embed other web pages or apps from elsewhere.\u00a0 For example, if you want a fully functional map app in your report this could be a good way to do it.\u00a0 We do this by using the text widget.\u00a0 Once you&#8217;ve added one to your report simply double click on the widget to open the text editor and then go to the source code using the &lt;&gt; in the menu and paste your iframe code in.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/report-builder-agol\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/iframe-e1512147747671.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"790\" height=\"723\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-11129 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.reports.esriuk.com\/report-builder\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/iframe-e1512147747671.png 790w, https:\/\/help.reports.esriuk.com\/report-builder\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/iframe-e1512147747671-300x275.png 300w, https:\/\/help.reports.esriuk.com\/report-builder\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/12\/iframe-e1512147747671-768x703.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Data Source information<\/h2>\n<p>If you go to the &#8220;Data sources&#8221; under Report Settings tab you will see a small &#8220;i&#8221; beside each data source.\u00a0 This will provide information on the relevant feature layer; which webmap it is part; csv; data store; arcgis server layer etc.<\/p>\n<p>This was a popular feature request as it can be difficult to remember exactly which webmap \/ layers you originally built a report from.<\/p>\n<h2>Bugs<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Fix for Related Records widget in &#8220;geographic mode&#8221; so that queries can work across feature services with differing coordinate systems<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest version of Report Builder (v 1.6.14) is out now!
