Linking to reports from an ArcGIS web map

Reports built with InstantAtlas Report Builder have a built in index page, whether you choose to use “live links” or to publish the reports to HTML. However, this is not the only way to link to reports. Every feature in your report has a unique URL – this post will walk you through how to use that URL to build links from your ArcGIS Online web maps directly to your reports.

Stacking population data in bar charts with Report Builder

This article will try and show you some of the different ways you can use InstantAtlas Report Builder and the bar chart widget to present population data. We’re going to produce a few different charts, but we’re aiming for something like this:

5 year age bands grouped chart
5 year age bands, male and female chart with indicators grouped together

Announcing InstantAtlas Report Builder+

Starting today (6th February 2019) if you are an existing customer you may notice some differences in Report Builder and Dashboard Builder. We have reorganised our products in the ArcGIS Marketplace to streamline and improve both your experience and our workflow. So from now, Dashboard Builder and Report Builder have been merged into a single product, InstantAtlas Report Builder+. If you have previously purchased a licence for either Dashboard Builder or Report Builder you can upgrade to the new Report Builder+ and next time you sign in we will ask if you want to do just that.
